Furthermore, the newsletter contains information about workshops and events offered by partners at the Göttingen Campus and additional information that might be of interest for doctoral students in Göttingen. For more information about each topic, please follow the links below.

Some of the events or seminars are advertised in German as the language during the events or workshops will be German. The registration for methods and professional skills courses held in September 2021 will be open from 1 July 2021. You can register online via Stud.IP for courses taking place in September from 1-20 July; the slots will be allocated on 25 July. Read more...

Intensive German courses for international students, 20 Sep - 1 Oct 2021

The mentoring program "WeWiMento - Wege ins Wissenschaftsmanagement" and the introductory workshop „Wissenschaftsmanagement - ist das was für mich?" still pause due to the pandemic, because both formates require personal contact and live from inter-communication. Our Career Impulse Sessions offer a platform for interactive and informal exchange about career-related topics for PhD students and postdocs in the Life and Natural Sciences. By inviting PhD holders with different career paths, we would like to illustrate the broad range of potential careers for PhD students and postdocs and give inspiration for career choices.

We are happy to announce our GAUSS Career Impulse Session with Dr. Irena Andreeva, an alumna of the Molecular Biology MSc/PhD program and since 2020 Associate Director overseeing the development of new RNA manufacturing processes at BioNTech.
