welcome to the December issue of the monthly GAUSS newsletter - the last one in 2022 - with information from the GAUSS Office including courses and events organised by GAUSS. Furthermore, the newsletter contains information about workshops and events offered by partners at the Göttingen Campus and additional information that might be of interest for doctoral students in Göttingen. For more information about each topic, please follow the links below.

Some of the events or seminars are advertised in German as the language during the events or workshops will be German. Feel free to forward this email to other interested students. If you do not want to receive information like this again, please let me know and I will remove you from the mailing list.

Winter Break of the GAUSS Office between 23 Dec 2022 – 3 Jan 2022

The GAUSS Office, including the Examination Office, will be taking a break during the Christmas holidays. We will not be available between 23 December and 3 January. We wish you pleasant holidays and a good turn of the year. Enjoy the free time & stay healthy. Your GAUSS Office.

Call for course registrations – March 2023

The registration for methods and professional skills courses held in March 2023 will be open from 1 January 2023. You can register from 1-20 January online via Stud.IP for courses taking place in March; the slots will be allocated around 25 January. Read more...

5th Göttingen Call for ENLIGHT Mobilities and Projects (apply by 10 Jan 2023)

Kekulé Fellowship for PhD candidates in chemistry

The Chemical Industry Fund awards the Kekulé Scholarship for doctoral students in chemistry and chemistry-related life science subjects.
