GAUSS Career Workshop: "Explore the Unknown - The Company World", 5-6 Feb 2019

We are happy to announce our next GAUSS Career Service workshop “Exploring the Unknown – The Company World” by Dr. Gaby Schilling.

This workshop is for postdoctoral scientist and late-stage PhD students who are currently applying or planning to apply for a position in industry. Getting to know different departments and their functions in a company and reflect about whether related jobs could be a good fit for your interests and profile are the goals of this workshop.

GAUSS Career Workshop: "Scientific Grant Writing", 25-26 Feb 2019

This workshop helps postdoctoral scientists and late-stage PhD students considering to apply for research funding to improve their grant writing skills, learn how to structure and write a successful grant application and how to choose the right funding call.

Talk Series "Positions in Science Management": What does the head of Göttingen International actually do? (23 Jan 2019)

Dorothea Schlözer Career Coaching for female postdocs - call open until 31 Jan 2019

The next call for the Dorothea Schlözer Career Coaching is now open until 31 January 2019 starting in February 2019 for approximately 10 months.

If you are a female postdoctoral researcher on the Göttingen Campus apply for this program, which is designed to support young female researchers who aim at a leading position in science with intensive training and workshop offers. It represents a contribution to increase the number of women in leading positions at universities and non-university institutions.

WoCaNet 2019 "Towards a Dialogue!" (18-19 March 2019) - register now

The next Women's Careers and Networks Symposium (WoCaNet) "Towards a Dialogue!" is taking place from 18-19 March 2019 at the Max Planck Institute for Biophysical Chemistry featuring talks by successful women and men in science from different research fields, industry and other professional backgrounds.
