welcome to the August issue of the monthly GAUSS newsletter with information from the GAUSS Office including courses and events organised by GAUSS. Furthermore, the newsletter contains information about workshops and events offered by partners at the Göttingen Campus and additional information that might be of interest for doctoral students in Göttingen. For more information about each topic, please follow the links below.

The registration for methods and professional skills courses held in November 2022 will be open from 1 September 2022. You can register from 1-20 September online via Stud.IP for courses taking place in November; the slots will be allocated around 25 September. Read more...

ENLIGHT Research & Innovation Prize for PhDs and PostDocs, deadline 01 Oct 2022

PhD students and postdocs can now apply for the ENLIGHT Research & Innovation Prize (ENLIGHT R&I Prize) with their project and research. In the framework of this call for applications, the Enlight network will award mobility grants to travel to the Enlight partner universities as well as the ENLIGHT R&I Prize Award for the best and most innovative project idea. Exhibition "printing futures - art for tomorrow", Kunsthaus Göttingen (until 25 Sep 2022)

Beyond the Campus: Until 25 September, the Kunsthaus Göttingen displays the exhibition “printing futures – art for tomorrow”, featuring works by artists from Bangladesh, India, Singapore and Turkey, among others.
