Qualification courses wintersemester 2018/19
We are happy to announce a preview of the methods and skills courses for the winter semester 2018/19, which are jointly offered by GAUSS and GGNB!
Attached to this newsletter you will find a preview of already scheduled courses, which will be held in the winter semester 2018/19. All GAUSS doctoral students will receive the monthly newsletter including the up-to-date course program for the next registration round.
Registration for all courses held in one month will open two months before (i.e. registration 1-20 August for courses in October, 1-20 September for courses in November, etc.). Each registration is open for three weeks and can be accessed via the individual course pages on Stud.IP (see attached instructions for registration).
A full list of courses, which are already available in the winter semester 2018/19 can be found on UniVZ and will be updated regularly.
If you are interested in additional course topics, please do not hesitate to contact the GAUSS Office and make suggestions. This is especially important in case of methods courses outside the life sciences: If your workgroup has a broad expertise in a scientific method that might be of interest to other doctoral students on campus, please think about sharing this expertise as a methods course (and gain teaching credits by teaching other doctoral student).
