Call for German language courses registrations

From 15 – 18 October 2018 you can register for GERMAN LANGUAGE COURSES. The evening courses will start in October. Please check carefully for scheduling conflicts. In case you have registered but need to cancel the course on short notice, you can still do so before the end of the registration period.

Please note that you might be asked to switch the course after the first session in case a different course level seems to be more suitable for you.

A full list of all German language courses scheduled for the winter semester 2018 will be available via UniVZ and the website of the Lektorat Deutsch als Fremdsprache (DaF) soon. It is possible to register for all offered German language courses. Especially recommended courses for doctoral candidates are:

– Registration process:

  1. As a newcomer, you are required to take the placement test, all information about it seehttp://www.uni-goettingen.de/en/114195.html
  2. If you have already completed a course at the Lektorat DaF you do not need to take the test
  3. If you want to register for a German language course, please log in at https://www.studip.uni-goettingen.de/index.php?logout=true&set_language=en_GB; use your Stud.IP username and password.
  4. Decide which course level fits your knowledge of the German language best. You can then choose the appropriate German course, e.g. on the basis of the course numbers listed above.
  5. You will find all course details concerning time, teacher and location in the description of the course.
  6. Register for the German course (Note: Registration for the language courses is based on a first-come-first-serve basis).
