Furthermore, the newsletter contains information about workshops and events offered by partners at the Göttingen Campus and additional information that might be of interest for doctoral students in Göttingen. For more information about each topic, please follow the links below. Some of the events or seminars are advertised in German as the language during the events or workshops will be German. UniVz moved to HISinOne EXA - for information about all courses scheduled for the winter semester 2022/23 please go to HISinOne EXA. The registration for methods and professional skills courses held in October 2022 will be open from 1 August 2022. These intensive 3,5 hours/day (two weeks, Monday to Friday, 9.00 to 12.30) skill-oriented German courses for (PhD) students of GAUSS/GGNB are primarily designed to develop the ability to communicate in simple everyday situations. The "Kulturkreis der deutschen Wirtschaft", in cooperation with the Karl Schlecht Stiftung (KSG) 2022, is continuing the workshop program "DISCOVER - leadership training through arts" for the fourth year. The Otto Warburg International Summer School on Computational Cancer Research is organized jointly by the MPI for Molecular Genetics & the CompCancer Graduate school. The CCC-N is inviting to their First Annual Young Cancer Scientist Symposium on 12 November 2022 at UMG Göttingen.
In the third year of the pandemic, an entire generation of young scientists focusing on cancer has had little opportunity to interact with other researchers in person. The meeting is intended to enable them to present their work, exchange ideas, models, and technologies, and establish scientific networks beyond their existing groups and institutions. In addition, the event will provide information about career paths, with representatives from both academia and industry reporting on their respective careers and providing valuable tips.
