Survey of the University: Balancing Science and Care

Dear academics and researchers at the University of Göttingen,

We would be delighted if you take part in the online survey on the life and work situation of academics at the University of Göttingen, focusing on current, past or future care responsibilities.

This link will take you directly to the online survey (please note: the English version starts on page 2): https://survey.uzbonn.de/BAWIP

The University aims to further develop the area of reconciling science and responsibility for relatives in need of care in the coming years. Due to demographic change, we assume that the organisation of care will affect more and more people in the future, including those at the University of Göttingen. The results of the survey will be used to develop tailor-made measures that support the compatibility of science and caring responsibilities. Regardless of whether you currently have care responsibilities in the broadest sense, we would like to ask you to participate in this important survey for the University.

The survey is part of the project “Balancierung von Wissenschaft und Pflege – BAWIP” (Balancing Science and Care), which is being conducted on behalf of the University of Göttingen in cooperation with the Survey Centre Bonn. Prof. Dr. Inken Lind from the Cologne University of Applied Sciences is the technical supervisor. You are welcome to send her any questions you may have: inken.lind@th-koeln.de

Important: The survey is voluntary and anonymous and takes 10-20 minutes depending on your personal situation. All information is processed and evaluated in such a way that individuals will not be identifiable.

We are hoping for broad participation in the survey and thank you for your help.
