Call for registrations: WoCaNet 2023, Women’s Careers and Network Symposium (11-12 May 2023 – deadline 27 Apr)
On behalf of the Organizing Team we are happy to announce that the 8th Women’s Careers and Networks Symposium (WoCaNet) will be held on the 11 – 12 of May 2023 at the Max Planck Institute for Multidisciplinary Sciences – Faßberg Campus in Göttingen, with the slogan Together Towards Tomorrow.
WoCaNet has become a real tradition in Göttingen! Since its first edition in 2010, WoCaNet has continuously achieved success and positive feedback from its attendees. This has established WoCaNet as an instrumental event for networking and mentoring opportunities on the Göttingen Campus.
The organizers would like to wholeheartedly invite you to register for the symposium and make it another successful edition of WoCaNet.
The 12th of May will be the main symposium which will feature talks by women and men in science from different research fields, industry and other professional backgrounds as well as a career fair (see our speakers list). At the end of the day there will be a networking dinner with the speakers and a select number of participants who will be selected from the people who indicate that they wish to attend on the registration form. Participation for the event is 15 euros.
The 11th of May have four workshops conducted in parallel costing 5-10 euros depending on the length of the workshop. Interest in attending workshops can be indicated on the registration form and then participants will be choosen from those interested by random ballot.
