1st African-German Doctoral Summer School (4-9 Sep 2023)
From 4-9 September 2023 the first African-German Doctoral Summer School will take place at the Hamburg Research Academy.
The summer school is of particular interest to PhDs as well as early-stage postdocs across all disciplines, especially Africans or researchers with migration backgrounds (all internationals).
The Summer School aims to promote academic and social exchange between participants.
Highlights include workshops and seminars on Communication in a diverse society, social integration, surviving in Germany, building a career strategy, and grant-writing, as well as the chance to network with like-minded researchers.
Deadline for registration: 31 July 2023
Transportation and accommodation subsidies up to a maximum of 150€ will be provided for all participants. Also included are light breakfast and lunch, all throughout the duration of the summer school.
