Until end of March disputations and TAC meetings are in general not permitted in presence and have to be held virtual.

From the UniNews post: For the upcoming examination period of the 2020/21 winter semester (ending 31 March 2021):

  • The number of examinations conducted in person should be limited to the absolute minimum. Bearing in mind the current pandemic, the University cannot have an interest in encouraging its students, employees and lecturers to increase the amount of travelling they do. Therefore, examinations in person are to be limited to those that are absolutely unavoidable; the Krisenstab (crisis management team) will only grant exceptions in individual cases that are clearly justified.

Please refer to the UniNews post for more information and to the “Information about applying for an exemption in order to hold examinations in person“.

Important, this measures are also valid for GAUSS doctoral students at UMG!
