International PhD Day, 9 Oct 2019
As in every semester the Incoming Office organises an Introductory Week for international students
The four Göttingen Graduate Schools GAUSS, GFA, GGG, GSGG will contribute with an
– International PhD Students Day – on 9 October for both, new and already experienced PhD students.
It will include a mini-workshop on German Academic Culture, an entertaining guided city tour (in English), and a guided tour at the university’s north campus with some scientific highlights.
During the day, the graduate schools will hold a Meet & Greet where you can get in touch with the consultants and inform yourself about our guidance, support, and qualification offers for PhD students.You will find us in the Atelier in Studienzentrale at Wilhelmsplatz 4
We will close the day with a reception in the beautiful Old Townhall where the mayor will give a welcome address on behalf of the Town of Göttingen.
