CHRISTIANE NÜSSLEIN-VOLHARD-FOUNDATION for the promotion of talented young women with children
The Foundation for the promotion of science and research supports talented young women with children and aims to enable them to create the freedom and mobility required to go on with their scientific careers. The foundation targets specifically talented female graduate students and postdoctoral fellows in the fields of experimental natural sciences and medicine. It wants to help female scientists to deal with the difficulties of balancing family duties with that of a researcher. The foundation hopes to contribute with a monthly financial grant for household assistance or additional childcare to increase the time needed for the intensive work, especially to make the work-family-life-balance more comfortable.
Submission of Applications starts in September, deadline 30th of November 2019
