Leibniz ScienceCampus Primate Cognition: Confessions of a former monkey mind doctor
On Thursday, July 7th, 2016, at 4 p.m., the Leibniz ScienceCampus organizes an very special form of scientific presentation.
Daniel Povinelli from the University of Louisiana, Lafayette combines his interests in science and theater and performs his show
“Confessions of a Former Monkey Mind Doctor”
In this mixture of stage performance and scientific talk, Povinelli plays Doctor Fomomindo, an aging American ape psychologist, who has been invited to Germany to deliver the final lecture of his career. To everyone’s surprise, he shows up with his trained chimpanzee… What could possibly go wrong?
