EMBL PhD Symposium “Game Changers – Taking Life Sciences to the Next Level”

The PhD Students of the European Molecular Biology Laboratory (EMBL) are organising a 3-day PhD Symposium (22nd-24th Nov 2018, EMBL Heidelberg), which offers a platform to explore exciting and groundbreaking research, from Master’s projects all the way to Nobel Prize winning work. With a broad theme, it encourages many young researchers from across the sciences to showcase their research to an international audience, stimulate cross-disciplinary discussion and meet scientists from diverse backgrounds to share ideas.

The line-up of confirmed speakers comprises 13 high-profile scientists, including Nobel Laureate Professor Stefan W. Hell (MPI Göttingen, Germany) and co-chair of the Human Cell Atlas committee Dr Sarah Teichmann (Wellcome Sanger Institute, Hinxton, UK).

This year’s symposium on the topic ‘Game Changers – Taking Life Sciences to the Next Level’ is an excellent opportunity for PhD students to present their work, network, and get inspired by others.
Opportunities to present at the Symposium include talks, flash talks and poster sessions, as well as sessions to meet and interact with our game-changing speakers and to network with other successful young scientists.

Register by 7th September 2018 to enjoy a reduced registration fee and pay by 5th October 2018 to secure your place at the conference!
