Excursion to Mahr in Göttingen
Mahr is an internationally operating group of companies with its headquarters in Göttingen, whose name is traditionally associated with the terms production measurement technology, quality and innovation. Whether the lens of a mobile phone camera, the camshaft of an engine or an artificial hip joint – measuring instruments from Mahr document the quality of the most diverse products of their customers and verify research and development results.
Target group: Students, doctoral candidates and post-docs in the fields of applied informatics, business informatics, mathematics, physics and chemistry at the University of Göttingen.

Mahr ist eine international operierende Unternehmensgruppe mit dem Hauptsitz in Göttingen, deren Name traditionell mit den Begriffen Fertigungsmesstechnik, Qualität und Innovation verbunden ist. Ob die Linse einer Handykamera, die Nockenwelle eines Motors oder ein künstliches Hüftgelenk – Messgeräte von Mahr dokumentieren die Qualität verschiedenster Produkte ihrer Kunden und verifizieren Forschungs- und Entwicklungsergebnisse.
Zielgruppe: Studierende, Promovierende und Post-Docs der Fachrichtungen angewandte Informatik, Wirtschaftsinformatik, Mathe, Physik sowie Chemie der Universität Göttingen.
