Reminder “Three-minute thesis competition”
Do not forget to secure one of the last places in the “Three-minute thesis competition” of the Coimbra Group! On February 2nd, you have the chance to present your doctoral thesis for an interested lay-audience and fellow PhD students – in no more than three minutes. A jury will select the winner who then has the chance to present his or her thesis at the Coimbra Group Annual Conference in Edinburgh on June 6th – 9th. The three best contestants from the participating Coimbra Group universities will be awarded €3000, €2000 and €1000 respectively. Should you be invited to Edinburgh, the University of Göttingen will pay for your flight and accommodation.
Since there are only 12 slots which will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis, make sure you admit your application as soon as possible before January 20th, 2017! Registrations and further questions should be sent to esther.vonRichthofen@zvw.uni-goettingen.
