Program based grants from GAUSS
Since this year, GAUSS is also offering funding for actives organised by the individual programs within GAUSS. The events have to be organised by the programs, this includes program leaders and/or students.
GAUSS can provide funding for
- student retreats in order to increase the scientific discussion between the students of one program and create an identification of the students with the program
- symposia in order to communicate the ongoing research to people outside the program and receive input from renowned scientists of the field
- excursions in order to have a look on future career perspectives or to increase the understanding of specific techniques
