The DAAD offers doctoral students, financed by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF), a particularly flexible program to support stays abroad during their doctoral studies.
Doctoral students can now choose between a funding period of one to twelve months in the “Research Grants for Doctoral Students” program. In addition, they have the option of splitting the scholarship into several shorter stays and distributing it among different host countries.
