Reminder: 19th Horizons in Molecular Biology, 12-15 Sep 2022

Dear fellow Researchers,

The 19th Horizons in Molecular Biology PhD symposium, organized by students of the Molecular Biology Program / International Max Planck Research School at the University of Göttingen, will take place this year from 12th to 15th of September, 2022 (see poster attached). The event will take place in person at Max Planck Institute for Multidisciplinary Sciences, Faßberg campus, in Göttingen.

We have an exciting and diverse group of scientist joining us for the plenary talks this year, including Azim Surani, Shiv Pillai, Tom Rapoport, Tyler Jacks, Olivier Duss, and many others. For the 16th Career Fair, we are happy to announce talks by Chiara Pastore from Springer Nature Nanotechnology, Claudia Walther from Boehringer Ingelheim Fonds, Oliver Rinner fromBiognosys, and many more. We also offer workshops on a first come first serve basis!

James Rothman, Nobel Laureate in Physiology and Medicine in 2013, will be the keynote lecturer of this year’s conference.

As every year, we will continue to host poster sessions and student award talks where young scientists get the chance to share their research with their peers.

!!!! The deadline for the awarded student talk and travel grant application is 1st July 2022. Poster abstracts can be submitted until 25 July 2022. You can submit them during your registration. !!!!
