CfA: German-American Science Slam in Köln, May 18, 2020 (deadline: March 2, 2020)
Fulbright Germany is excited to be hosting its fourth Science Slam in Köln (Cologne) on May 18, 2020. Are you ready to dazzle an intercultural audience with your research? Then apply now!
For this enjoyable evening event, the organizers are looking for six young researchers – three each from Germany and the United States – who are currently based in Germany. The application is open to all academic fields (humanities, social science, natural sciences, or applied sciences).
What is a German-American science slam?
It is a fun event with 10-minute presentations by young scientists in German or in English – on stage in front of a live audience. Slammers deliver an exciting and approachable version of otherwise complex research. And they compete for the hearts and minds of the audience, whose applause determines the winner!
The Science Slam is supported by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF).
