Fulbright Germany: travel grants for German researchers (any time)
In course of their funding line “research and teaching” Fulbright Germany awards travel grants to postdocs, lecturers, and professors. Funding is provided for three- to twelve-month teaching or research stays in all disciplines at academic institutions in the United States.
The scholarship includes funding for transatlantic round-trip travel, an incidental expense allowance of 600 euros, health/accident insurance, and free Fulbright visa sponsorship (scholarship recipients travel to the U.S. on the free Fulbright J-1 visa).
