Daimler Benz Postdoctoral Scholarships for 2 yrs (Deadline: Oct 1, 2020)
Each year, the Daimler and Benz Foundation awards twelve scholarships to selected postdoctoral researchers, junior professors or heads of junior research groups. The objective is to reinforce the autonomy and creativity of the next generation of scientists and to pave the way for the dedicated researchers’ professional careers during the productive phase following their doctorates. The annual subsidy amount is EUR 20,000 per scholarship, which is granted for a period of two years in order to finance academic assistants, technical equipment, research expeditions or participation in conferences. With gatherings of young specialists from this constantly growing network of scholars in Ladenburg, the Daimler and Benz Foundation also promotes an interdisciplinary exchange of views and information.
The promotional program is open to applicants from all scientific disciplines; there are no restrictions in terms of content.
The call will close at midnight on October 1, 2020.
