Location: North campus – exact location will be announced to registered participants

Registration: Please register here and send an email to including a short statement on your motivation to attend the workshop.

Workshop Description:

In a vivid mixture of presentations, group tasks and exercises the workshop guides you as a young researcher to having a closer look at career pathways inside academia. You will develop a biographically based profile that precisely highlights your individual qualifications and skills which are needed in science. Also, the typical requirements and hidden expectations in an academic setting will be revealed.

How to publish adequately, and what else is relevant for one’s academic career strategy? In which way do mentoring and other activities help to establish progress and development? Which alternative career options could (should) become a Plan B?

On Day 2, you can discuss specific questions about your intended career in an individual online coaching session.
