The German Chemical Society (Gesellschaft Deutscher Chemiker – GDCh) currently has several open calls for prizes and awards for outstanding scientific achievements in the field of chemistry and related sciences.
The following awards are currently advertised. The deadline for nominations is 15 September 2023.
- Albrecht-Kossel Prize (Biochemistry)
- Carl-Duisberg Memorial Prize (Young academics in chemistry)
- Carl-Roth Award (resource-saving synthetic routes or innovative applications of chemicals)
- GDCh Prize for Biocatalysis (PhD Award)
