New interdisciplinary journal: The Journal of Trial and Error (JOTE)
Your research project did not turn out as expected? If so, it’s still worth publishing on it. In scientific practice, trial and error is a fundamental process of learning and discovery. Therefore, JOTE wants to make public the lessons of the struggles in research. The editors are convinced about the productive role of errors, and so they aim to publish answers to the question “what went wrong?” in the form of short communications, as well as problematizing this question by reflecting on what failure means in science. JOTE is a serious scientific journal emphasizing quality and innovative thought in the papers published. They garantee quality with a peer review process and are aiming to close the gap between what is researched and what is published.
