Open Research Positions in Ghalei Lab (Emory University, Atlanta, USA)
Ghalei lab is seeking creative and highly motivated individuals for summer rotations, internships, master thesis projects and postdoctoral research.
The lab uses a combination of techniques including RNA and protein biochemistry, X-ray crystallography, cryo-EM, and yeast genetics to answer fundamental questions about the molecular mechanism underlying the assembly and turnover of a class of RNA-protein complexes involved in RNA modification. Our lab is located in the Department of Biochemistry and has wide access to the scientific resources and collaborative community at Emory University.
Candidates who have research experience in biochemistry or structural biology are strongly preferred. The applicant will start on the ground of exciting novel preliminary data and work closely with members of a highly collaborative team and an enthusiastic mentor in an interdisciplinary laboratory.
