Vera Bissinger is leaving the GAUSS Career Service
To the end of this year, we very much regret to see Dr Vera Bissinger leaving the GAUSS Career Service. Joining us during Stefanie’s parental leave in November 2019, Vera was always a very valued member of our team and for now nearly three years (with a short break from February to August 2021) did a fantastic job in her role. Most of you know her as during this time she covered nearly 200 individual counseling sessions, CV and application checks, which we hope brought those who had these appointments a step further towards their dream job.
Some of you might know Vera from her integral engagement in the four rounds of our Alumni Mentoring Program for which she covered not only the Introduction Workshops but also major parts of the short individual counselling sessions, which are accompanying the program. Vera will stay at the University’s HR Department in her role (Central Coordination Mentoring) and you might meet her when applying for example for the Dorothea Schlözer Program.
From now on, Stefanie is again covering all counselling and advice sessions including CV and application checks. If you want to book an appointment, please contact her via career@gauss.uni-goettingen.de.
