Election of doctoral student representatives
As mentioned in the last email, the doctoral student representatives of all faculties of the university are going to be elected this coming Thursday (May 11th 2017) . The election meeting will take place at lecture hall MN09 and the corridor 0.107 directly in front of MN09 in the Faculty of Geosciences and Geology, Goldschmidtstr. 1 (Map) on Thursday, May 11th between 14:15 and 17:00.
The doctoral students of each faculty will vote for the representative of their faculty. All representatives will then elect one person (and his/her deputies) to represent all doctoral students in the senate.

As you will realise, there is not really an election in either of the five GAUSS founding faculties as there is only one candidate for each faculty. An election is therefore not necessary according to the regulations of the doctoral representatives. GAUSS PhD students in the Faculty of Medicine and the Faculty of Forestry will be able to elect a representative as there are three possible candidates.
