Talk “Employment contract and working culture” by Dr. Hilmer on 29 Oct at 18-19h
If you want to enter the German labour market and start with your first job, it is important to know your rights and duties as an employee. When applying for a job or preparing for a job interview we recommend you to have an understanding of basics concerning types and clauses of the employment contract.
In this session Dr. Hilmer provides an expert inside about the different employment contract types, especially the limited one. The compulsary and obligational employment contract clauses are often not that obvious to the potential employee. A summary of do´s and dont´s before signing an employment contract will therefore be highlighted.
This session offered by the University’s Career Service will focus on the following:
- Individual labour law (“Individualarbeitsrecht”) and employment contract
- Types of contracts
- Limited contracts
- General employment contract clauses
