COST – an EU-funded programme – offers researchers and scholars the ideal means to establish or develop transnational interdisciplinary research networks over Europe and beyond. These networks called COST Actions allow researchers and scholars to develop their own ideas and new initiatives across all fields in science and technology, including social sciences and humanities, by providing funds to organise workshops, conferences, meetings, training schools, short scientific exchanges, dissemination and other networking activities. Research advisors from the EU-Office, Lisa Grow, Claudia Sültmann and Christian Schöpper, will present the broad spectrum of eligible networking activities and provide details on how to submit a proposal or how to join an existing COST Action or how to become an external expert. In addition, PD Dr. Christian Brischke, Department of Wood Biology and Wood Products, Faculty of Forestry and Ecology will offer firsthand insight on his experiences with COST Actions.
Researchers and scholars from all academic disciplines and at all career levels are invited to attend. This workshop is limited to 25 participants. Please register at the latest by Friday, 7 June 2019 per email: |
