Open Science Göttingen Meet-up (18 June 2019)
Dear Open Science enthusiasts,
in our next Open Science Göttingen Meet-up on Tuesday, 18 June 2019, 13.30 – 16.30 o’clock, we will focus on “Teaching Open Science” and will investigate methods and techniques. We will look into approaches for training instructors/trainers, pedagogies, and how to create a welcoming and engaging environment.
Join us for teaching demos and feedback to improve our understanding in how this works in practice. Your contribution to the session of demos is very welcome! The idea is to teach for c 5-7 minutes on an Open Science topic of your choice while you make sure that your audience is practicing what you preach 🙂 In addition, we suggest that we collect constructive feedback during the teaching sessions.
The meet-up will take place at the central libary, Platz der Göttinger Sieben, Conference Room. Please head for the third floor and then through the glass door on your left (signs will be put up).
