Open Science Göttingen Meet-up: Citizen science, 10 Dec 2020
Dear Open Science friends,
please pencil the date of the upcoming Open Science Göttingen Meet-up into your calendars.
This time we would like to explore the topic of how to engage citizens in science with you, and have some fun trying out practical examples.
Citizen science is an expanding field of Open Science and provides a tool for communicating the goals of research, education and active engagement of the public in research. In this meet-up session we would like to explore the general concept as well as approaches and lessons-learned from ongoing (or past) projects at universities. Moreover, you are welcome to join us for a practice session in which we will evaluate a couple of examples on Citizen Science platforms.
Date: Thursday, 10 December 2020, 13.00-16.00
