Oxford/Berlin summer school on Open Research, 20-23 Sep 2021, hybrid.
This four-day summer school for PhD students and postdocs adresses the questions on open, transparent, and reproducible research, which will be surrounded by a general curriculum on research ethics and meta research.
The programm consist of lecture series and interactive, free of choice workshops (e.g. introduction to R and Python, reproducible workflows, version control in Git and Github, data management, and preregistration with the following topics:
- Biases in research
- Reproducibility
- Best practices for sharing publications, data, and code Meta-research
- Ethical conduct of research

Register by end of July (free participation with application & selection process)
Where: Depending on the situation, the summer school will be organised as a hybrid format with some attendees at Oxford and in Berlin and the option to attend online. If necessary (lockdowns), it will switch to an overall online format.
