Call for Science Slammers at Study Information Days (12 Mar 2024)
In 2024, the University of Göttingen will once again host the Study Information Days, during which a Science Slam will be held on 12 March 2024 (the exact time will be announced). The aim of the slam is to present the diversity of Göttingen’s science to prospective students in an entertaining and generally understandable way.
We are therefore looking for scientists from all disciplines who would like to present their own research in 10 minutes (these are the only 2 rules) in an entertaining but creative way. Of course, PowerPoint or similar is possible, but musical/artistic or other entertaining interludes are also expressly permitted. In accordance with the Science Slam rules, the audience decides on the best performance – and can also be involved in the presentation.
The slam is also a very good way to get into the genre and try it out (before possibly entering the big national stages of the science slam).
