Eurolife Network
Since January 1st 2018 the University Medical Center Göttingen (UMG) coordinates the Eurolife Network. The following ongoing initiatives of the Network might be interesting for researchers in the field of biology and medicine:
- Eurolife Winter School: Structure and Function of Genomes in Homeostasis and Disease
http://eurolifeuniversities.org/eurolife-winter-school-2018/. Eurolife will award 3 grants to the selected UMG students.
Who can apply:
MSc and PhD students from the medical, biomedical, pharmacological, biotechnological and life sciences, preferably with a background in molecular biology, cell biology and genetics/genomics. Proficiency in written and spoken English is required.

- Short-term Eurolife Research Exchanges

The grant in the amount of 1500 € will support travel and living expenses for junior scientist to travel to another Eurolife institution and perform research for a period equal to or longer than 2 weeks.

- Eurolife Scholarship Program for Early Career Researchers

This program facilitates research stays in laboratories at other Eurolife partner institutions for a period of 3 to 6 months. This initiative is addressed to PhD students and postdocs working at one of Eurolife institutions in the field of Biomedicine and Medicine.

- Eurolife mobility program

This program is geared toward B.Sc. and M.Sc. students who would like to do a research stay abroad at one of the other participating Eurolife institutions. A maximum of three students per year can apply for a grant of 500 € to offset extra costs incurred as a result of the exchange.

- LEaDing Fellows Post Doc Program – initiative by the Leiden University Medical Center (LUMC)
It is a Horizon 2020 Marie Skłodowska-Curie COFUND programme with the goal of the 3rd call to provide 30 researchers from all over the world who recently obtained a PhD, with the opportunity to gain two years of work experience in the Netherlands.
