Call for course registrations – October 2020

Information regarding methods and professional skills courses in times of the COVID-19 pandemic:

Since none of us can foresee the further developments of the pandemic and evaluate the situation in October, it is quite possible that courses have to be cancelled at short notice. We hope for your understanding.

Please check the updated overviews of Methods and Professional Skills courses. Courses already announced for August – September will, as far as possible, only be offered online – in that case the corresponding participants will be contacted by our Offices or the course instructors. Cancelled courses might be offered later, in case they can take place again with participation in presence. Please check our webpage for updates.

Registration for methods and professional skills courses held in October 2020 will be open from 1 August. You can register for courses taking place in October from 1-20 August; the slots will be allocated on 25 August.

Please check carefully for scheduling conflicts. Registration after 20 August is not possible, please do not contact the course instructors. All communication regarding the courses should be via the GAUSS or GGNB Office. In case you have registered but then need to cancel a course, you can still do so in StudIP before the end of August. From 1 September your participation will be binding and cancellation is only possible with a statement by your supervisor or your doctor’s attestation via an email to the office, not to the course instructors.

Laboratory Animal Courses

(offered by the UMG)

Due to current provisions and hygiene regulations, unfortunately practical modules cannot be offered at the moment.

Therefore, practical modules 1 to 6 will probably start again in September 2020. The theoretical part (online e-learning course) can still be performed, and the passing of a written exam is prerequisite for participation in the practical part.
